Course Narrative
World Language and Culture Pro-Seminar course helped me create this e-portfolio, as well as organize what I needed in order to graduate. During this class, I was able to get to know lower class Japanese major students as well as some Spanish students. I learned about the career choices that are available for language majors, including higher education opportunities at the Middlebury Institute for International Studies at Monterey. Partaking in lectures from both Japanese and Spanish professors allowed me to better understand the goals of the World Languages and Cultures department, as well as helped me gain a better understanding of what possible topics I could delve into for my Capstone project.
